Lavender Days are the Polish edition of Purple Day

Lavender Days are the Polish edition of Purple Day — an international initiative of solidarity with people living with epilepsy, celebrated worldwide on March 26. On this day, people wear purple clothing, buildings in many cities are illuminated in purple, and social organizations, institutions, and volunteers organize educational and community events. The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness about epilepsy, break stereotypes, and build social understanding for those living with the condition.

Purple is more than just a color. It is a symbol of support, solidarity, and visibility for people living with epilepsy.

In 2026, the EPI-BOHATER Foundation once again organizes Lavender Days in Poland — a four-day series of educational, social, and community events.
